Full-to-Full Fuel Policy

At Fortrago, we aim to provide transparent and convenient services to all our customers. Our full-to-full fuel policy ensures a fair and straightforward approach to fuel usage during your rental period. Please carefully read and adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Initial Fuel Level

Upon vehicle collection, we will provide you with a vehicle fuelled to the maximum capacity.

2. Return Fuel Requirement

We expect the vehicle to be returned with a full tank of the same fuel type it was provided with.

3. Fuel Verification

Before accepting the vehicle upon return, our staff will conduct a thorough inspection of the fuel gauge to verify that it matches the level at the time of rental.

4. Consequences of Incomplete Refuelling

If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than initially provided, the following charges will apply:

• A charge of RM0.25 per kilometre will be levied for the shortfall in fuel.
• An additional penalty fee of RM20 will be incurred.

5. Calculation of Fuel Charges

The fuel charge will be calculated based on the difference between the initial and final fuel levels, multiplied by the applicable rate per kilometre.

6. Excess Fuel Compensation

If the vehicle is returned with more fuel than initially provided, customers will be compensated for the excess fuel at the prevailing market rate, subject to verification by our staff.

7. Receipts and Documentation

Customers will be provided with a detailed breakdown of any fuel charges incurred, along with their rental receipt.

8. Exceptions

Where returning the vehicle with a full tank is not feasible (e.g., due to time constraints or unavailability of refuelling facilities), customers must notify Fortrago in advance to discuss alternative arrangements.

9. Liability

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring the vehicle is returned with the required fuel level. Failure to comply with this policy may result in additional charges and penalties.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any disputes regarding fuel charges, customers may contact our customer service department for further clarification and resolution.
